Teaching Experience and Philosophy
At Rutgers, I have gained experience as an instructor, teaching assistant, and coordinator for an undergraduate program that prepares women for public leadership by connecting them with experiential learning opportunities and internships. These roles have allowed me to work with students at all levels, from first-year undergraduates encountering political concepts for the first time to advanced graduate students refining methodological skills. Across these experiences, I have developed a pedagogical approach centered on four guiding principles: inclusivity of diverse perspectives, accessibility of theoretical and methodological skillsets, application to contemporary events, and continuous mentorship and advisement. Together, these principles structure my teaching philosophy and my classroom practices. By employing innovative pedagogical strategies that foster dialogue and collaboration, I cultivate a classroom where intellectual freedom and curiosity are actively nurtured and where students feel both supported and challenged.
